12th November 2007

By Staff Writer

New Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra has vowed to deliver Dimitar Berbatov and Paul Robinson to boss Sven Goran Eriksson during the January transfer window according to reports over the weekend.

The News of the World claims Shinawatra will launch a £20 million bid for unsettled Berbatov and a further £8 million bid for Robinson.

Shinawatra confirmed to the paper that money is available, telling reporters:

"We will invest in the team in January window if we see the right player at the right price.

"I know that Sven has some ideas and I will continue to give him the support he needs."
