Liverpool and Tottenham have been alerted to the availability of Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura after it was revealed this weekend that he could be in contract talk dispute with the Bhoys.
The News of the World claims that the Celtic club is denying reports from the player's advisors that he has a £1 million get out clause in his current deal that could be exploited by either of his potential suitors.
Celtic chief executive Peter Lamwell is quoted by the paper as saying:
"Naka is under contract for one more year and we have an option for another 12 months after that.
"We have had no indication from anyone who matters that he wants to leave this club. There is no get out clause in his contract. End of story."
